Directions for Use:
Filling the Spotter with cleaning solution:

- Release the front and rear draw latch and lift off the upper recovery tank
- Add the water and the chemicals to the lower (solution) tank
- Replace the upper (recovery) tank on top of the lower (solution) tank and latch both the front and rear latches
Operating the Spotter:
-
- Attach the solution hose feed line to the female quick disconnect on the front of the spotter
- Attach the vacuum hose to the vacuum inlet on the recovery tank at the top of the spotter
- The switch on the right when you are facing the rear of the spotter has three (3) positions
- Switch in the up position both the pump and the vacuum motor will run
- Switch in the center position, the entire unit is turned off
- Switch in the down position, only the pump will run
- This switch position (down) is typically used for pre-spraying or spotting the carpet prior to vacuuming up the solution.
- The pump takes a few seconds to prime and start spraying once it is turned on
- Hold the trigger on the hand tool or the wand for a few seconds before it starts to spray out the solution
- Before turning the heater on, make sure the pump has been turned on and primed.
- To prime the pump - fill the solution tank with solution and both the solution hose and vacuum hose
- Turn on the pump switch and then pull the trigger on the hand tool and hold it until solution sprays out
- You can now turn on the heater
- The switch on the left when you are facing the rear of the spotter is for the heater.
- This should only be turned on when you are using the unit, as it is an on demand type heater and it heats the solution while it flows through the heater. It does not heat the solution in the tank
- Be sure you never let the pump and/or heater run when there is no solution in the tank, as the pump will burn out and this is NOT covered under warranty
- Be sure to NEVER leave the heater on when you are NOT using the unit, as the heater will eventually burn out and this is NOT covered under warranty. The heater is an on demand type heater which heats the water when the solution flows through it, so there is no reason to leave it on when you are not using the spotter
