1. Regular inspection

   • Check the linch pins and bracket holes — ensure they’re not worn excessively or elongated.

2. Cleaning

   • Periodically wash off mud, dirt, salt, and road grime. These can abrade surfaces and accelerate corrosion.

   • Use mild soap / water; avoid harsh solvents that may degrade rubber or coatings.

3. Lubrication / Protectants
