The CarLink ASCLBTLR combines a simple 2-way 1-button long-range remote with Bluetooth smartphone control. The included RF remote provides command confirmation at distances of up to 1 mile, while the CarLink app can turn a connected smartphone into a full-featured virtual remote.
When connected by Bluetooth, the app can provide access to supported vehicle functions and status information such as door lock status, alarm condition, battery voltage and remote-start runtime. Function availability depends on the connected remote start or security system and the vehicle installation.
