Westin R5 XD Nerf Bars are designed for drivers who want the 5-inch-wide R5 stepping surface positioned closer to the ground. The XD design lowers the step surface approximately 3 inches compared with standard R5 Nerf Bars, making entry and exit more convenient on taller trucks and SUVs.
This version uses lightweight aluminum construction with a textured black powder-coated finish. Injection-molded polymer step pads create a broad stepping area, while the rocker-panel mounting system and molded bracket covers help produce a clean installed appearance. The vehicle-specific mount kit is included.
