These brackets are custom fit to make installing 12'x23" Gatorback Mudflaps possible. Ford F150 wheels wells do not have wheel well liners or a surface to mount the flaps too. These brackets solve that problem. They have been designed to fit perfectly in your rear wheel wells. Using these brackets will give you a very stable surface for mounting your flaps.
